…well, not so much here. It’s out in the US. While the reviews are glowing the price-tag is worth hitting a CEO over. The lawsuit would cost less than the phone + a new contract.

Canon and Vimeo are attempting a video-equivalent of a Twitter novel. What probably excites me most is the fact that these short films – or the first one at least – will be shot on Canon SLRs, in HD.

They’re going through major teething problems. Apparently AT&T’s web and telephone support have shutdown.
i wonder if they’ll ship it to malaysia?
It’s coming to Europe in Nov-Dec of this year and Asia 2nd Quarter of 2008. The iPhone is to be tied to a specific carrier in each country/region. So in Malaysia, whoever bids the highest will get it. I hope it’ll be Maxis. They do have the best coverage, I think, and perks like the MaxisOne Club.
In the UK, I’m hoping it’s not Vodafone. Even Orange I’d deal with but please…no Vodafone. It might just be O2, which is the network with the best coverage and the only network which gets any bars in my flat.
Oh, I forgot to say…you have to sign up for a new contract when you buy the phone. They have a retarded activation system, which is causing problems in the States. AT&T is having trouble keeping up with the sheer volume of new signups that comes with each new iPhone.
No Pay-As-You-Go (or as we say when in Malaysia, Prepaid), no old sim cards. In the end you’re stuck with a new contract and bill, and no discount on your iPhone. A new sim card is shipped with the iPhone and while you can move your old number to the new sim, you cannot use the phone until that new sim card is active, even with your old sim.
That’s why I wanna hit ‘im!
