Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will join Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in a new US$300,000,000 ad campaign (count those zeros).
Seinfeld will reportedly get US$10 million for the campaign all to himself. He was selected from a list of comedians that also included Chris Rock and Will Ferrell.
I have a hard time picturing Chris Rock hawking Windows and Ferrell would have been too goofy next to Gates. Seinfeld might actually have the right comedic chemistry with Bill though, provided my former CEO dishes a decent performance in front of the camera.
After having their tails handed to them with Vista, I really hope my peeps do some damage with these ads.
The campaign will kick off on September 4th. Stay tuned!
Bow-b-b-bow…che…chek…ahhh
