WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? How can you end an entire TV series that way?
I’m not gonna say anymore, because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. The DVD Boxset comes out on the 16th (next Monday).
I do have bigger news though. David E. Kelly, no less, is putting together a remake of Life On Mars for American Television. Here’s the IMDb listing. Last time I checked it, the page said that production on the pilot was on hold. So things may not be looking too good.
Before my Brit-friends start b*tching about how American versions ruin their best shows…we’re talking David E. Kelly. The genius behind Boston Public, Boston Legal, Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope and The Practice.
OK, so he’s a little Boston heavy, but he has an amazing spin on things and he also loves using old school music to drive his shows. He tends to lean more toward Soul though, so I hope he won’t substitute Bowie’s track with some weird…know what…not gonna worry about it. After all, he is keeping the title. Plus, this is the man who landed Michelle Pfeiffer.
He gets points for that…you know taste wise…Michelle’s hot…kinda creepy in some films…but totally hot! Hmmm…yeah… …hot.
