Apple gave the press a sneak peek at their 3.0 software update for the iPhone. They’ve finally put up the video stream of the presentation, which you can get at by clicking here.
The shocker for me was MMS. They missed the curve on that IMHO and it’s one of those features iPhone users have learned to live without.
Turn-by-turn and cut, copy, paste were long overdue and I’m glad they’ve finally rolled those out. I’m also happy to see landscape-mode for typing in Mail, SMS and Notes.
Here’s a rundown of all the new features in the 3.0 update. It will be available as a free download to iPhone users “this Summer”. iPod Touch owners will have to pay US$9.95 to upgrade. Same fakakta accounting excuse.
