Our sources are slim on details for exactly what will be announced, but said that at least one of the things that will come out of September 5th will be a new iPod. When given a rundown of the AppleInsider report, they said that they weren’t clear on the minute details, but from what they do know, “it seems right.” So that said, let’s take a look at what AI wrote. Apple Beat Event

This image was sent out as a part of the press invite. It features the Cover Flow UI we know and love from iTunes but with a silhouette image from the iPod ad campaign. The invite did not specifically say it was an iPod event but, with this image, it’s a safe assumption.

Some have begun to ask whether the leaks were intentional, Apple toying with us the way they usually do.
