Coldplay made two music videos for Violet Hill. One, for mass consumption on regular tv, and another that they only made available through YouTube.

Gladys Knight and the Fresh Pips on Idol (plus the original footage you didn’t see)
I found both the version that aired and the original footage from 1973 that was cut up for the Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. skit on American Idol.
Love Gladys. Saw her at the Albert Hall a year ago and she sounds as good now as she did back then.
